Standard

Breakups are no joke. It can literally destroy your everyday life if you do not know how to move on after a very tough breakup. If you have recently gone through a breakup, I understand how painful it is. But it in no way shape or form should this put a stop to your personal life. Nor should you fret over past memories. Some people find it really hard to move on because they are still carrying the feelings and memories of the past. Here are some tips on exactly what you need to do after a breakup in order to successfully move on with your life.

What To Do After A Breakup

Here’s What To Do After A Breakup

If you want to move on and completely forget your past love, here are a few things you need to start doing immediately.

Hitting The Delete Button

Once you know things are over between you and your girlfriend/boyfriend, it’s time to hit the delete button. Delete every single thing you have from them. That includes sext messages, Facebook/Twitter/Instagram profiles, pictures and any songs and videos they might have given you. If you keep these things intact, you will be constantly reminded of them and that will take you to the past. Your objective is to progress, not regress. Get that social shit out of the way!

Go On A Trip

One of the best ways to get your life back after a breakup is to go on a long, nice trip to a destination that you have always wanted to go to. This is a great distraction and sometimes getting out of the same city where you and your partner spent most of the time together can be a refreshing experience. During your trip, you will create many new memories and moments of fun will replace your old existing memories that basically make you feel like shit right now. My advice is to try and meet someone on your trip too.

Start Dating Again

Do not sit down and allow yourself to fret over someone who is no longer a part of your life. Immediately go out and start looking for someone to date. Once you start a new relationship, you will completely forget about your ex. Just make sure you never let the memories of your ex haunt you when you enter a new relationship. In fact, it’s best to try and date someone that’s the exact opposite of your ex.

Change Your Lifestyle

If you want to change things and forget about your breakup, try changing your lifestyle a bit. How about joining a gym or a yoga class? These are great distractions which will keep you away from thinking too much about your past. You will also have an opportunity to meet new people at the gym. Plus exercising releases positive hormones in your body which will make you feel a lot better about yourself in general. In fact, I’ve had sex with some women from my gym in the past. It’s a great place to meet someone to fuck, especially if you like milfs.
